Welding Helmet Accessories and Parts
The welding helmet accessories worth buying are spare cover lenses, a replacement headgear, the right hard hat adapter and, if you weld in dim corners, a helmet light. The one welding hood accessory every pancake or pipeliner needs is a lens that actually fits its lens box.
We list only fits a manufacturer states, so you don't buy a part that won't go in. Start with the lens size finder.

Welding hood accessories for pancakes and pipeliners
Hoods need three things a helmet ships with: a lens, cover lenses and headgear. For the Fibre-Metal Pipeliner that means a 2 × 4¼ in lens (Lincoln confirms its 2x4C fits), clear covers and the 1CR ratchet if you want one. See welding hoods and the headgear picks. Leather hoods like the Jackson Safety Leather Welding Helmet and SHINE Leather Auto-Darkening Hood take the same 2 × 4¼ in lenses.

Hobart welding helmet parts
Hobart's Inventor spec sheet lists replacement headgear (770843), a replacement auto-darkening lens (770846), a lens frame (770883) and protective lens kits. We rank the 770843 headgear; buy the lens from a Hobart dealer.
Welding helmet cover: shell covers and bandanas
A welding helmet cover (a fabric shroud or bib) keeps sparks off your neck and sun off the shell; it doesn't change the helmet's rating. Lincoln includes a bandanna with the 3350. Keep fabric covers away from the sensors so the lens still triggers.
